Help Us

HELP US HELP THE PARK

From its' inception, FOCSP has always had big ideas.  Our track record proves that beyond any doubt.  Obviously, we like doing things that directly benefits Codorus State Park and its' surrounding areas.

As a non-profit, all volunteer organization, we have done a lot for the Park.  We have made physical improvements in the Park, have purchased numerous items in support of the Park's operations and we have covered the cost of many small needs/expenses for Warren and his staff in the last five years.  Click here to see an ongoing list of ways we have helped Deanna and the Park.

We would like to be able to do more to help Deanna & her Park Staff.  But, we don't have enough money or possess enough of the specific material resources needed to be able to do everything we would like.  Hopefully, that's where you can play an important role.

Just like us, maybe you have strong feelings about the Park too.  And maybe, you want to help us make things even better at the Park so that future generations can enjoy the fruits of our labor.  We need your help and we hope that you are willing to help us!

VOLUNTEERS

As with most non-profits, volunteers are the backbone of our group.  Right now, FOCSP has a great bunch of people working together.  Long lasting friendships have been formed within our group as a result of hard working people coming together for a common cause.  We could ALWAYS use more help!

If you are interested in helping our group by volunteering to assist at our events and activities, please click on our "Join Us" tab above to learn more about the numerous opportunities available to people who are willing to donate their time.

MONETARY DONATIONS

FOCSP conducts numerous events and activities at the Park throughout the calendar year.  Go to our community calendar to see a list of our events and other activities that is happening at the Park and in the general community.

Most FOCSP events are designed to bring the general public into Codorus State Park.  However, these events cost us a lot money to make them happen and they usually require acquisitions of very specific material resources that we just don't have enough of.

Should you be interested in assisting us by making a cash donation to our group's general fund or a donation specifically for one of the events we offer, go to the "Contact Us" section to let us know about your intentions.  Monetary donations may benefit you as a tax deduction.

RESOURCE DONATIONS/LENDING

Like we just mentioned, we need things to make our events happen.  For everyone's benefit, we took the time and started a list of things we commonly use.  The items below are examples of the resources we are always in need of.  Any help you can give us with acquiring these resources, either through an item donation or by making a borrowing arrangement with us would be greatly appreciated.  Click here to tell us about what items you may have available or tell us your ideas on how you can be helpful in other ways.  Resource donations may benefit you as a tax deduction.
